I started my season with a Win at the Northern Territory PGA Championship in Darwin. I won a very cool unique crocodile trophy! I battled with injury after this for a few months. My game struggled along but through hard work and a new physical team, I finished out 2023 with a great win at the Sandbelt Invitational….this included a Hole in One on the 16th hole at Royal Melbourne East. This Hole in One sent me from one shot behind to one in front. I was able to hold on with a 7ft putt on the last to win by 1.
As the January restart came along, I played consistently and managed to get another Win of the season at the Webex Series Hunter Valley – my first multi win season. At the finale event, I was in the top 3 on the Order of Merit and earnt a DP World Tour category for the 2025 season. I was 3rd going into the event and managed to play well on all four days, finishing 2nd in the National Tournament… and more importantly 2nd in the Order of Merit Standings. This result gets me a European tour card for 2025 season, some starts for the year ahead and will open up some other doors too.
This was another fairly solid year. My highlight was a 2nd place finish at the TPS Sydney, ended up finishing 16th on the Order of Merit in Australia. I travelled back to America mid-year to try some qualifiers again. After a few close calls, successfully went back to Minnesota and Monday qualified again for the 3M Open with a 60, highlighted by a slam dunk on the last which went super viral across all socials and made ESPN’s top 10 daily plays July 25th.
This season started out very strong. A tied 12th at the Australian PGA followed up with an outright 2nd at QLD PGA and a tied 2nd place at TPS Victoria set me up for a great season. Was one of my most consistent seasons to date and finished 10th on the Order of Merit at seasons end.
Later this year I would go to America to try and do some Monday qualifiers on the PGA Tour and successfully qualified for the 3M Open in Minnesota.
The years 2020/21 were interesting times. Covid affected the schedule massively with everything stopped and a restart was unknown. Won the European Tours Shot of The Year So Far in this period with a spectacular 3 wood to a couple inches at the Aus PGA in 2019. Through the on and off, trained hard, played as much as I could and this season on the Aussie Tour wasn’t the greatest for me.
Finished 86th on the Order of Merit but played well in the Pro Ams where I finished 3rd on that Order of Merit to maintain some status and playing category still. At seasons end still went back to the Qualifying School where I finished 9th to better my status for the 2022 season.
2018 was an interesting start to the year. Turned professional with no status anywhere after not successfully progressing through PGA Tour of Australasia’s Q School. This meant I had to Monday Qualify for events. Made it successfully into the QLD PGA for my first official start and made the cut there. The next week I ended up getting my first win as a professional in an unofficial sanctioned event The Meriton Sydney Invitational.
I then went over to Papua New Guinea for The Morobe Open (Pro AM) and Papua New Guinea Open (PGA Tour Australasia Official Event) and ended up winning both events over there. The 2nd one earning me a Tour Card for the Aussie Tour and had a great first season out there finishing 22nd on the Order of Merit.
2019 was my first full calendar year on the Aus Tour. Finished 29th on the Order of Merit at seasons end.
In 2016 I was selected in the NSW Men’s State Team and we were victorious at the Brisbane Golf Club against all other states, one of the biggest highlights of the amateur career for sure!
2017 was a great year for my amateur career. Won the Under 21s Faldo Series Age group in Vietnam which earned me a start in the European World Final in Dubai later that year where I would finish 2nd. I won the Keperra Bowl in Brisbane which would be my one and only National Ranking Amateur Event win. This would be my last year as an amateur golfer
I started golf in 2003 when I was 7 years old. I joined the juniors’ program at Fox Hills Golf Club in 2004 and was a member there up until 2014. Since mid 2014, I have been a proud member of Castle Hill Country Club. I am also an Ambassador Member of Lynwood Golf and Country Club
I have been coached by Paul Latham since 2005 and played most of my junior golf events in the Jack Newton Junior Golf program (2005-2014)
I made the Golf NSW Junior Development Squads when I was 15 and 16 and the Junior State Team in 2014, my last chance to do this as a junior. At the end of my JNJG career, I was awarded the Renay Appleby Award in 2013 and received the BBM scholarship to travel to the UK.
At the end of 2014 I was selected in the Golf NSW High Performance program after winning the Gary Player Classic and notching a few top finishes in the Australian Men’s amateur events. This provided me great opportunities throughout Australian amateur events and helped my pathway to compete in some International amateur events in the United States and UK. I decided to step out of this program in February 2017.
